Ever since last summer, Mercedes has been treating us to various SL-Class test shots made in all kinds of exotic locations. The latest bunch comes from Sweden and is worth looking at.
Features tested in harsh weather conditions this time around include soft top, which comes to replace the metallic hardtop, and AWD system, which is a first for the SL-Class on record.
It is official that all SL-badged vehicles will be sold under Mercedes-AMG branding. The top spec will allegedly receive a 4.0-liter V8 and an electric motor for 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) total. The entry spec should make do with a 2.0-liter turbo-four rated at roughly 400 PS (394 hp / 294 kW).
The final testing stage will take place at the North Loop, and the premiere is expected before the end of 2021.
