The new Mercedes-AMG SL will debut later today, but in the meantime, here is its last teaser video to help you wait.
As you can see from the note and tail shown in the video, the next generation looks rather more aggressive than the previous one – which is expected, of course. The company had confirmed before that the car would ship with a soft top due to it being lighter and more practical compared to the soft top, which tends to occupy plenty of trunk space.
A Mercedes-AMG SL prototype has recently been spotted testing with a charger port in the same place as the AMG GT 63 S E Performance. This seems to imply that a plug-in hybrid SL version is underway to the market, but we doubt that it will be released within the next few months. The company will most likely want to offer a turbocharged V8 spec at first and gradually add other variants later.
