A heavily modified 2002 Mercedes-Benz SL 55 AMG with 39,000 km (24,233 miles) on the odo is up for grabs in Russia for ₽5 million ($68,050 USD).
Recognizing a Mercedes under all the mascara can be challenging, though. Responsible for the controversial styling is Yo-Engineering, a now-defunct car customizer. Aftermarket parts make the front and the back ends completely unrecognizable, while the fenders are widened from stock and house Rennen forged wheels.
In contrast to the alien outside, the interior is factory standard and in good condition despite the age. A 5.4-liter V8 pumps out its usual 476 PS (469 hp / 350 kW) to the wheels.
The seller claims the car was purchased new in Germany. It was imported into Russia 19 years ago and has never changed hands since. Whoever buys it gets a tuning rundown with all the parts and their mounting points highlighted.
