German motorhome maker Hünerkopf has unveiled a rather unusual project: a partially open-top modification of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van ideally suited for falcon hunting. The client handed over €267,000.
A previous-gen Sprinter van with AWD and a 128-hp (95-kW) diesel engine provided the base for the conversion. Hünerkopf lifted the suspension, extended the wheel arches, added lighting all around and plated the bottom with off-road protection. Further additions included a winch, a snorkel and meaty off-road tires. The roof was partially removed, resulting in a landaulet-like shape.
The interior of the van speaks luxury through four posh leather seats rotated to face each other, multiple enormous multimedia screens, a table and a minibar.
