Starting next month, the V-Class-based motorhome will respond to your commands when you say, ‘Hey Mercedes!’
The van itselft boasts a deluxe and highly comfortable interior with an ergonomic layout, a kitchenette with a fridge, a sliding roof with a bed for two directly underneath, and a rear sofa that you can turn into another bed.
In its current implementation, the MBUX infotainment unit enables the owner to use a smartphone to access most of the in-car functions remotely. After the 2020 update, all you will have to do is say, ‘Hey Mercedes!’, and follow up with your request. Water mains, lighting, heating, the fridge, and the audio can all be controlled like that. You will even be able to order the rear sofa and the roof tent to fold or unfold using voice commands.
