A unique Mercedes-Benz W100 600 Pullman restored by the company’s own classic car subdivision using Maybach parts is up on sale in Germany for an eye-watering €2,320,500.
The four-door stretch limo was built for a customer from Lebanon 46 years ago. It combines a grey body with a blue leather interior. Mercedes-Benz Classic bought back the car in 2007 and proceeded to restore it to its former glory (watch the video) while adding modern comfort-oriented features.
In particular, the car ended up with an infotainment system, satellite navigation, panoramic glass roof, a reversing camera, a fridge, individual rear seats, a partition between the cabin and the driver’s cockpit, and Swarovski crystal accents. There is also an intercom to enable the passenger to communicate with the driver when the partition is up.
The body was stripped clean and given a new coat of paint. The 6.3-liter V8 under the hood remained stock, still pushing out 250 PS (247 hp / 184 kW) to an automatic transmission. According to OEM documents, the 6.2-meter long stretch limo could go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in ten seconds flat when new.
