For a pickup truck with only two years of production time, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class sure enjoys a whole lot of attention from tuners. Prior Design, Carlex Design, Brabus – many widely known companies have put efforts into making the exotic ride even more special. So has Kahn Design, and now, it improves upon its initial project.
The atelier now has a new paint option in stock, called Black Military 3D. It is a high-tech, expensive matte-grey paint coat that now only lends the truck a brutal appearance, but should also safeguard it from all kinds of minor dents and scratches. No wrapping or sealing required, and the matte surface looks as practical as it gets without the oily sheen of the vinyl.
Other than this, the X-Class looks nearly identical to the one shown a few months ago. The only major difference is the radiator grille, which is not Panamericana in this case and is missing the Mercedes star logo. This part of the tuning is the only one that strikes us as controversial at best – but we are going with the simple assumption that the customer wanted it.
