A unique Mercedes-Benz motorhome has recently been sold at Bring a Trailer that began its life as a Mercedes-Benz O321H bus back in the 1950s. The listing mentioned that this specific example was used as a transit shuttle by the hockey team of Switzerland.
It then made a trans-Atlantic journey and spent some time in Massachusetts and Michigan prior to being acquired by its recent owner and seller in 2020. In its current form, the bus is finished in brown with red exterior accents and rides on 20-inch steelies. It has three doors, a front and a rear roof hatch, and as many as 12 skylights letting in plenty of sun.
The motorhome was designed to accommodate up to seven residents. The middle section houses a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The sofas transform into beds, and another sleeping area can be found in the back.
