Mercedes has begun testing a compact-sized sedan in what looks like its final production body, Motor1 reports posting several shots of the car. The novelty is expected to debut in concept form at the IAA Munich show this September, followed by a production car sometime in 2024.
The sedan appears to be the first entry in the manufacturer’s Entry Luxury lineup, which will consist of four models. The model in the gallery below will likely come as a replacement for the A-Class and the CLA.
The MMA platform it is based on supports internal combustion engines, but is mainly tailored towards all-electric powertrains. The car in the photos has no visible tailpipes and looks like an EV.
