A Mercedes-AMG GT P One Edition is up for grabs in the USA right now with the bidding at $576,000 and counting. According to some sources, only those who preordered a Mercedes-AMG One hypercar were allowed to purchase this special edition in the States, which would imply that there are no more than 25 such cars around.
The P One Edition improves upon the AMG GT Black Series, which was the flagship spec at the time. Aside from a new body kit with a giant rear wing, it received a 4.0-liter V8 boosted to 730 PS (720 hp / 537 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 3.2 seconds, and the top speed amounts to 325 km/h (202 mph).
Other than that, the P One Edition is technically a standard Black Series vehicle. It boasts a gradient livery strewn with the company’s signature tri-point start pattern and has turquoise accents inside and out, a nod to the livery of the AMG Petronas F1 racecar. You could order all these options with the normal Black Series for a $57,300 premium.
This particular supercar could be even more expensive, though, thanks to an exclusive all-black exterior (see video). Aside from rarity, condition is a major factor contributing to the price: the 2021MY car has less than 280 km (175 miles) on it.
