Mercedes-AMG has posted a cool new video on YouTube starring two British Formula One drivers – Lewis Hamilton and George Russel. The duo tested their skills in a slalom test – first with the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar, and then with a C63 S E Performance, an S63 E Performance, and an AMG GT.
In the list quoted above, the AMG GT is the only sporty Mercedes on sale without a PHEV powertrain. That said, the company is on its way to electrifying it, too.
In his next race, the seven-times champion of Formula One piloted an all-wheel-drive AMG GT while his colleague burned rubber behind the wheel of the C63. The guys then play rock-paper-shotgun to decide who gets to drive the part-electric S63. Hamilton wins and proceeds to have fun as if he weren’t 38 years old.
