Mercedes-Benz has shared the first teaser pic of its facelifted CLA model. The image is not very revealing, but we should learn more details soon.
In all likelihood, the car will be updated in the same vein as the A-Class was last fall. This implies reworked bumpers at both ends, new lighting, a different radiator grille and a fresh set of wheels.
Like the A-Class before it, the CLA may end up with large displays inside the cabin, an infotainment system with optimized software, new trimming materials and a fingerprint scanner.
The non-electrified gas engines will probably drop from the lineup for good, replaced with hybrid powertrains rated anywhere between 136 and 224 PS (134–221 hp; 100–165 kW, respectively). Diesels and AMG performance versions should remain available, though.
The newest CLA-Class debuted in 2019 bringing along a new platform and engines, but continued to be marketed as a more driver-oriented alternative to the A-Class with a mildly upmarket design.
