Here are some fresh photos the camera-wielding crowd around the Nürburgring made of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
The prototype is wrapped in tricky camo, but you can still discern a broad radiator grille and air vents, as well as LED-based ‘eyelashes’ above the main headlights. A closer look reveals similarly curved elements below the main lights.
The door handles are designed to be flush with the car body, like on the latest S-Class. When viewed from a side, the nose seems especially long and the tail especially short. Dark multi-spoke wheels fill out the arches.
We would expect much of the interior to correspond to the latest S-Class. This implies high-definition dash and infotainment displays, as well as state-of-the-art driving aids.
Knowing Mercedes, the new generation is not likely to come out until at least late 2023.
