It is very unlikely that the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class will debut before the end of the year with only a few weeks remaining, and it also looks like the Stuttgart automaker is still busy testing it on public roads. Still, the prototype spotted today appears closer to production than ever.
The video provided by YouTuber walkoART shows a nearly naked E-Class with only a bare minimum of camo, leaving the impression of a finalized design.
The interior is also going to change. A large central display is going to dominate the dashboard much like in the EQE. Rumor has it the more affordable specs will ship with the same 11.9-inch touchscreen model as the C-Class, while the higher specs will benefit from a 12.9-inch OLED screen used in the S-Class.
