Mercedes is working on a new electric crossover based on the EQE sedan, but with some extra ride height and multiple drivetrains to choose from, including a powerful AMG one. This test vehicle seems to be it, exactly.
A cursory glance at the car might fool you into thinking that it is just another EQE SUV prototype, the likes of which you had seen before. A closer look, however, reveals an AMG front bumper with protruding aerodynamic parts and slightly lower ground clearance.
There is nothing known about the technical aspect of the AMG EQE SUV, but Mercedes hinted that its sedan-shaped cousin would have around 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW) at its disposal. We suppose that the crossover has the same or similar power rating.
Launch dates remain likewise unannounced, but the premiere should take place later this year.
