The Mercedes team has revealed another photo of the all-electric EQE SUV, revealing some of its front fascia in addition to the interior shown before. The premiere is right around the corner: October 16.
Even though the image is darkened, you can see that there is a stripe running across the whole front end connecting the thin LED headlights. The bumper has what looks like rather massive air intakes, suggesting a higher spec (probably named EQE 53). The EQE sedan, which has already debuted, is able to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds.
However, the sedan only packs a single electric motor rated at 292 PS (288 hp / 215 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. The SUV is clearly marketed as the more luxurious alternative to it, so we expect it to have a dual-motor powertrain in all versions. We will learn more about it in just two days, so stay tuned!
