Mercedes-Benz teases its full-size battery SUV ahead of reveal

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will hit the spotlight on April 19, 2022, but the manufacturer has already posted photos of it, proving that the SUV is styled in the same vein as the EQS liftback.

For example, the front bumper and faux grilles merged with headlight units look nearly identical between the two. Of course, the luxury soft-roader has a much taller frontal projection, so many of its features are stretched vertically.

The taillights are almost the same as on the regular EQS, too, with similar LEDs inside and a glowing stripe in between. The liftback version has a spoiler on the trunk lid, while the SUV wears one there the roof and the tailgate meet.

Technical specifications remain to be announced, but the interior has already been shown. Similarities extend there as well – both EQS models feature the giant MBUX HuperScreen display composed of three screens and spanning nearly the entire front panel width. Unlike its liftback counterpart, however, the SUV will be available with three seat rows as well as two.
