The past year brought record profits from Mercedes-Benz G-Class sales, and we suspect this is why YouTuber Woodworking Art decided to carve a scale replica of the luxury SUV out of solid wood.
He began with a single piece wood that he gradually cut into shape, adding a functional suspension system and some other small details after the main work was completed. The dashboard even has gauges, air vents and an infotainment display on it.
The tiny steering wheel sports miniature buttons, and you can move the front seats back or forward like in the real G-Wagon. The doors, the tailgate and the hood can be opened or closed. Some impressive detailing work can be found in the side exhaust pipes and the engine bay, and tinted glass rounds off the replica with a flair.
