Mercedes-Benz has announced a new limited edition of the G 550 spec. Called the Edition 550, it will be limited to 200 units in the United States and available in red, grey and white finishes.
Every car bears a special badge depicting a G-Class climbing a mountain. The interior makes use of dual-tone Napa leather with diamond stitching, multi-contour front seats and carbon-fiber inserts.
The base vehicle is a G 550, which means that power comes from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting from zero to 97 km/h (60 mph) takes 5.6 seconds.
