German tuner Hofele has designed and produced a new body kit for the current Mercedes-Benz G-Class, dubbed the EVOLUTION. The off-roader ended up with a slew of custom-fitted, unique carbon trim bits.
The scope of the upgrade is rather impressive: both bumpers with integrated lights are new, and so are the fenders, the side sills and the mirror housings. Visible carbon fiber is found around the turn indicators, on the radiator grille, on the door panels and on the roof-mounted light bar. The upgrade is marketed as sporty, but it doesn’t lack elegance, either.
The styling continues inside the cabin, where everything is trimmed anew with leather and shines with more carbon fiber. The ceiling is a starry sky made of LEDs, and the seats are a custom design produced with the utmost comfort in mind.
Interestingly, there is a caption that says ‘HG 800’ on the engine bay lid. It could be referring to an engine boost, but we were unable to find Hofele mentioning anything of the kind. Perhaps the boost is still on the works.
