The sales of the legendary G-Class keep growing steadily despite the global semiconductor crisis affecting the whole car industry.
Over 41,000 units has been sold in 2021, marking an all-time high since the W460 generation made it onto the assembly lines four decades ago.
The current year promises to show even better results, considering that a mid-life refresh is coming soon for the latest G-Class. Furthermore, a high-end off-road spec with portal axles and huge ground clearance should be underway as well.
The current-gen G-Class is available with a petrol and a diesel engine, but an all-electric version is scheduled to debut in 2024.
