Short promotion movies really only serve one goal – to reach their target audience and sell as many units of the product as possible. Luckily for us all, this also implies they must try to be as creative and memorable as possible, like this Mercedes-Benz ad timed right for the St. Valentine’s Day.
The German marque shot the eight-minute video to promote its G-Class SUV, almost as if the latter did not sell like hot cakes already. Anyway, it is themed around vampires and their attraction to ‘timeless’ design that never ages or dies.
This would not be the first time Mercedes shoots something like this video, of course. Take the EQG Concept that debuted in Munich last year, which was ushered in by mascots resembling aliens.
