The North American branch of Mercedes-Benz has prepared its portfolio for the next model year, raising prices across the board. Not a single model avoided the inflation, but the G-Class surpassed them all.
The entry-level G550 now starts from $139,900, an $8,150 premium over the last year’s base spec. The automaker said it wasn’t ready to provide us with a detailed rundown of the changes yet. More information will be released later, simultaneously with the pricing for the Mercedes-AMG G63.
It also remains unclear whether the AMG G63 4x4² (see video) will reach the market in the United States next year or not. The company unveiled the V8-packing ultimate off-roader in June this year, estimating its price at $250,000, but never mentioned a launch date.
