A Mercedes-AMG G 63 thoroughly reworked by German tuner Brabus in accordance with its 700 Adventure XLP spec is looking for a new home in Moscow, Russia. Set aside 60 million rubles, or 832,000 USD, if you want it.
What used to be a five-door SUV became a pickup truck. New portal axles added ride height, and the front end received a protective bumper extension with a winch. A rack was added to the roof, a trailer hook appeared at the back, and auxiliary lights were installed for driving in bad weather.
The whole body received a fresh coat of vivid orange paint. The interior was re-trimmed in black with body-matching orange accents. The car is maxed-out in term of trim options and equipment and is awash with carbon-fiber details inside and out.
The listing refers to the truck as ‘new’ despite a stated mileage of 1,200 km (745 miles). It also states the production year as 2018, although Brabus did not reveal the 700 Adventure XLP until 2020 (see video).
As expensive as the project truck may seem, it is actually ‘entry-level’ by Brabus standards, packing only 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque. Next up the line is an 800 Adventure XLP modification with 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) at its disposal. Crowning the range is a version called Rocket 900, which commands 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW). It is available in pickup truck and SUV flavors, but comes with slammed suspension and is therefore not usable off-road.
