For the past couple of years, the portfolio of Carlex Design mostly consisted of cars that were either black-and-white or British Racing Green with orange accents. The latter hue was so popular that someone ordered a Mercedes-AMG G 63 in it (see video). Now, the company went for something new and daring as it revealed the same SUV in Mint Green.
To offset the shrill main color, the tuner uses pale gold accents on the 23-inch aftermarket wheels, spare wheel cover, radiator grille and badges all around. That said, pale gold doesn’t make much of an accent against a shade as vivid as Mint Green.
If you were following Carlex Design, you would know that the Polish company mainly specialized in redesigning car interiors. This G 63 AMG is no exception. The golden details are still there, but mostly boil down to small bits decorating the center console, air vents and doors. The main contrast color is gloss-black, with occasional carbon-fiber trim pieces thrown in for good measure.
Such large-scale makeovers never come cheap, and this particular G-Class cost its owner €51,000 to overhaul.
