A Mercedes-Benz G-Class with its entire body covered in stripes of fresh lawn grass has been spotted in Moscow, Russia the other day. The woman behind the steering wheel said she just felt like ‘evoking positive emotions’ in others.
The first sighting of the car was reported in late April near Patriarch’s Ponds in Moscow. It was reportedly also covered in green roof to wheels, but the greenery was artificial. It still warranted a visit from the police, though.
When contacted by the media, the driver said the police officers were very polite with her and mainly just curious to know how she managed to stick so much actual organic grass onto the SUV.
She added that the entire idea cost her 60,000 rubles (around 725 USD), half of which went into buying the lawn grass and the other half into hiring two decorators.
