The Mercedes-Benz GLC has only recently stepped into its next generation and has yet to receive an AMG 63 version – but it is only a matter of time, as these fresh spy photos indicate.
Granted, the camouflage is solid here, but there is no mistaking the sporty overall styling. This includes an aggressive front bumper, a Panamericana grille, larger brake calipers, lower clearance, side skirts and quad tailpipes.
It is expected that the crossover SUV will ditch its 4.0-liter V8 in favor of a plug-in hybrid powertrain based on a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Earlier rumors claimed such a setup would command 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW).
