Polish interior customizer Carlex Design has come up with yet another styling option for the Mercedes GLE-Class, landing it with a body kit, new wheels and a neat-looking blue leather cabin.
The body kit includes a front splitter, side skirts, a bulky roof spoiler, air intake bezels and a diffuser-shaped add-on at the rear. We were unable to find the origin of the parts mentioned anywhere, but it is official that they are all made from carbon fiber. 22-inch alloy wheels with the tuner’s stationary logos on the hubcaps occupied the arches.
Even more is going on inside the car, where most surfaces flaunt Blue Racing leather adorned with intricate stitching, perforation and contrasting black patches. There is a carbon trim on the dashboard and Carlex badges on the headrests and armrests. The makeover comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Earlier Carlex works included similar projects in orange and mint green shades – browse to the end of the gallery to check them out. The orange car cost €152,500 to its buyer, while this Racing Blue example cost €145,000. The trim level is not specified, but it doesn’t nearly look like the AMG flagship spec.
