The new Brabus 900 Superblack squeezes up to 900 metric horsepower (888 hp / 662 kW) from its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and zaps from zero to highway speed in 3.6 seconds.
The extreme tuned SUV also manages to attain a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph) with the Brabus-recommended combination of wheels and tires. Choosing an alternative set caps the acceleration at 310 km/h (192 mph), but we cannot imagine too many people being disappointed by this.
A nine-speed automatic transmission conveys up to 1,050 Nm (774 pound-feet) of torque to both axles. The nominal torque capacity amounts to an even more impressive 1,250 Nm (922 lb-ft), but the tuner installs an electronic limiter here as well to keep things stable and safe.
The exterior is all-black with a matching carbon-fiber aero kit, 24-inch forged wheels, and a 25mm (1-inch) suspension lowering kit.
Just as dark as the body is the cabin with its coarse-grained leather, seashell stitching patterns on the seats, and lacquered carbon-fiber trims all around. The headrests sport Brabus Masterpiece logos, while some of the hardware buttons and switches on the dash benefit from a durable coating known as Shadow Gray.
