Check out Russia’s most expensive G-Class

The owner of this Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet asks for €1.5 million for it in Moscow, Russia, making the open-top SUV the most expensive G-Wagen on sale in that country right now.

The vehicle has 711 km (442 miles) under its belt since 2018 and had only one owner in Russia. No wonder it looks pristine with 22-inch polished wheels still bearing authentic Landaulet badges. The soft top is beige, and the interior uses a combination of beige and black.

This particular G-Class modification debuted five years ago (see video) marking the first time in history Maybach put its badge on an off-roader. You may remember the Maybach GLS, but that one came afterwards. Compared to the stock G-Class, the deluxe variant has a wheelbase a whopping 680 mm (26.5 inches) longer. It also comes powered by the marque’s most powerful production engine at the time, a twin-turbo V12 rated at 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW).

Other than that, the vehicle represents a wild mixture of various G-Class versions and trim. The rear end comes from a cabriolet version produced in the past, the front fascia stems from the five-door variant, the portal axles debuted on the G 500, and the engine was borrowed from the AMG G 65. The front part of the interior looks largely stock, but the rear part has been grafted from the Maybach S-Class with some adaptations.

A total of 99 such vehicles left the factory and cost from €400,000 new.
