Mercedes-Maybach GLS tries a Mint Green outfit on for a change

Since recently, car interior specialist Carlex Design has been releasing vehicles in a peculiar trim combination of black, mint green and pale gold. Judging by the influx by such makeovers, clients must be finding them very appealing. Anyway, how do you feel about a Mercedes-Maybach GLS redone in this color combo?

The exterior has the mint paint on the lower half of the body, while the hood, the roof and the sills and aprons all around are black for contrast. Gold-tinted radiator grille, side sill extensions and 23-inch wheels are a nice added touch, too, resulting in an image that looks almost cozy.

A similar theme continues in the cabin, where most of the top half is black and most of the bottom half is green. Fine details, like diamond stitching on the seats, round off the image.

The stock GLS model comes equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 good for 557 PS (550 hp / 410 kW) and 730 Nm (538 lb-ft) of torque. Outfitted like this, it needs 4.8 seconds for the standard 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint.
