Mercedes-Maybach has produced a limited run of S 680 sedans co-designed with Virgil Abloh, the recently deceased famous U.S. fashion designer.
The top half of the car is finished in a sandy shade, while the bottom half is black. The same scheme is used in the Nappa-wrapped interior. There are plaques bearing the late designer’s autograph in a few places, and the MBUX infotainment system has a corresponding splash screen.
Only 39 such Maybach sedans will be sold, and all buyers will receive a 1:18 scale model of the car as a gift. For its own part, Off-White – a clothing brand founded by Abloh – has launched a fashion collection styled in the same sand-colored theme.
