SMN Motors works tuning magic on a latest-gen Mercedes S-Class

German tune-up shop SMN Motors (same owner as Simon Motorsport) has proposed its own take on the W223 Mercedes S580 4MATIC. The package is called SMN600 and contains both visual and technical improvements.

As you could guess, the engine output goes up by nearly 100 hp to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). How it is accomplished is not described in detail, but the tuning certainly does let the others notice it, courtesy of a performance exhaust system with a valve for sound adjustment.

On the outside, there is a nice body kit made from pure prepreg carbon fiber – a front splitter, air intake shrouds, side sill extensions and a rather elegant diffuser. The wheels are forged and 22 inches large: the driver’s side gets a black finish, while the passenger’s side gets silver. The tuner’s badges on the hubcaps stay upright when you drive for extra coolness points.

Rounding things off is an interior makeover in vivid mint-green Nappa leather and Alcantara.
