Mercedes-Benz Design Director Gordon Wagener has shared the first image of an upcoming Maybach model on his social pages. The car looks like a luxed-up version of the Mercedes-AMG SL convertible (shown in the rest of our gallery and the video).
The image depicts a front end with the company’s signature radiator grille sporting vertical bars and a Maybach badge. The exterior wears a two-tone paintjob, and the black hood comes decorated with a pattern made out of Maybach logos.
Wagener said that those who appreciate refined luxury and designer experiences would be the primary target audience.
The Mercedes-Maybach SL will first debut as a concept. Just when it will happen and when the production car will become available remains to be announced.
