The Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Big Sur tuned by the Manufaktur division of Mercedes-Benz will be present at this year’s Pebble Beach event and grace the market of the USA with a new exterior finish and extended trim options.
The limited edition wears an Orange Flame Metallic paint contrasted by black brake calipers and 21-inch black wheels. The cloth top is of the same color.
A peek inside reveals brown Nappa leather with orange stitching. There are body-matching metallic trims on the door panels, the center console and the dashboard. AMG-badged, deep-pile mats and the Manufaktur logo on the dash panel highlight the exclusivity of the car.
As usual, the power is sourced from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Sprinting 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) is a matter of breezy 3.6 seconds, and the top speed lies at 315 km/h (195 mph) – enough to annihilate even the most firmly fixed hairdo.
Trim-wise, the Big Sur comes preloaded with nearly every option on the manufacturer’s list. All pricing details are pending.
