The camping van specialists over at Vansport have once again updated the “Beach” version of their California package to offer even more luxury, comfort and practicality for owners. You are still supposed to source your own Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (High Roof) for the conversion.
For starters, the whole interior gets padded with superior noise insulation. The floor area gets lined with vinyl and the walls with birch plywood. LED lighting at the ceiling helps keep things brightly lit at all times.
Fresh and used water tanks are rather small at around 25 liters (6 U.S. gallons) each. There’s a battery for all the appliances on board that you can charge up from a 200W solar panel on the roof or via a supplier 2,000W invertor charger.
As for the furnishings, they are pretty much all modular and interchangeable. Bike racks, gear/equipment carriers, storage boxes, a table, an outdoor shower – you will need to specify what you want and what you can do without.
Prices for the 2025 Vanspeed California Coast package start from $65,000. Since the cost doesn’t include the donor van, you can pick any powertrain you like.
