Mercedes-Benz has brought the latest facelift version of its V-Class-based Marco Polo campervan to the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Germany. The update primarily targets the exterior and tech.
Compared to its predecessor (see video), the new Marco Polo sports revised bumpers, radiator grille and lighting. Inside, there is a new infotainment system display composed of two 12.3-inch screens, a steering wheel with grip detection and a wireless charger.
There is also no omitting Advanced Control, a new all-in-one panel for accessing all in-car functions like lighting, air conditioning and so on. You can even do the same remotely from your smartphone. Immersive ambient lighting is a paid option, though.
The standard trim specification mentions a pop-up roof with a bed underneath, a fully stocked kitchen, a table and assorted storage opportunities.
During the show, Mercedes-Benz also revealed a Marco Polo upgrade package for the T-Class compact van lineup. It is a much simpler camping kit that goes in the trunk and contains the bare minimum of equipment needed for traveling.
