Manhart freshens up the Mercedes V-Class

Minivans are primarily bought for their utility, but that doesn’t mean they can get away with boring looks. Meet the Manhart V 350, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class that took a couple of fashion lessons.

The exterior has been given a distinct AMG-inspired style thanks to a TopCar Design body kit. Included are a new front bumper with side air intakes, a two-dome hood, a modest front spoiler lip and side sill extensions. The fenders all around are flared, and a look at the rear end reveals an imitated diffuser with as many as four exhaust tips – once again in keeping with the AMG theme.

H&R springs drop the ride height by roughly 25 mm (1 inch). The stock wheels are gone, replaced with a special 20-inch, double-spoke set.

There seem to be some carbon-fiber trims inside the cabin, but the engine bay arguably gets a bigger upgrade. The ECU controlling the twin-turbo diesel gets a tune to 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW) and 585 Nm (431 lb-ft) of torque.

Manhart did not release any prices, but you can contact the shop for details.
