Meet MG Cyberster, a speedster EV with 3s sprint time, 800 km / 500 mi range

Chinese brand MG will be unveiling the extreme and futuristic-looking Cyberster Concept on March 31, 2021. The full-electric car will incorporate state-of-the-art tech and design cues and pack plenty of power.

Based on the images, it will feature an original lighting arrangement made of LED stripes built into body kit parts. There are no unitized lights like on the conventional cars of today, and the logo in front is also illuminated.

The center console pretty much divides the interior in two. Other features remain to be announced, but we think an augmented reality HUD is a must.

Technical details are few and far between: MG claims the car will sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat and cover 800 kilometers (500 miles) on a single charge.

Stay tuned for the official reveal on next Wednesday, March 31. Perhaps we will also find out whether the Cyberster is a pure design study or a production car prototype.
