While you can buy an MG car in Europe, these are not considered particularly stylish or well designed. Could the MG Cyberster Concept change this preconception?
The all-electric study will debut at the Auto Shanghai expo. In the meantime, the latest photos reveal its elaborate aero kit, streamlined body curves, and LED-based lights concealed by screens that go away when you start the car. Nothing is said about the brakes, but it looks like there are six-piston calipers here.
Nearly everything in the cabin is sensor-based, and the driver’s cockpit is visually isolated from the rest of the interior. A digital dashboard displays the video signals from side view cameras, carbon-fiber seats have flexible headrests, and the steering wheel has a rudder shape.
MG claims the Cyberster is a roadster supercar that can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in three seconds flat and cover 800 kilometers (500 miles, NEDC-rated) on a single charge.
