Carwow has posted a fresh drag racing video featuring a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Nissan GT-R… and an MG4 Xpower, of all things. The unlikely trio did both standing and rolling quarter-mile runs to see which one is the fastest on the uptake.
Starting with the MG4 Xpower, it weighs 1,800 kilos (3,968 lbs) and has 435 PS (429 hp / 320 kW) at its disposal. Max instant torque of 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) lets the five-door SUV-like hatchback reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in four seconds or so.
For its own part, the Italian supercar packs a five-liter V10 and slams the wheels with 520 PS (513 hp / 382 kW). The torque maxes out at 510 Nm (376 lb-ft), but the weight is impressively low at 1,570 kg (3,461 lbs).
As for the Japanese contender, it uses a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine turbocharged to 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) and 588 Nm (434 lb-ft) of torque. The curb weight is 1,740 kg (3,836 lbs).
