This Mini Wildgoose looks even wilder than it sounds

The classical Mini car has plenty of mods out there, but we are willing to bet you haven’t seen one such as this.

Called Mini Wildgoose, the campervan may look like a jalopy pieced together by a clinically insane car mechanic – but it is anything but. Tuner and motorhome builder Wildgoose Ltd. produced a mini-series of nearly 60 such campers in 1963–1968, but only ten have survived to this day.

The undomesticated mechanical fowl boasts a power-assisted folding roof, as many as four beds, a gas stove and a kitchen sink. It comes powered by a four-cylinder, 850cc (52ci) engine rated at 34 hp (25 kW) and maxes out before 116 km/h (72 mph).
