Mini Electric dons Flash-themed livery on superhero’s birthday

This superhero-inspired Mini EV debuted at Lucca Changes 2020, an online show dedicated to comics, fantasy, animation and video games. The faster-than-light DC character was introduced in 1940 and is currently celebrating eighty years.

Responsible for the gorgeous art livery is Carmine Di Giandomenico, an Italian artist who also contributed his series of Flash comics to the DC Universe.

Mini claims the compact ride has plenty in common with Flash, which admittedly sounds funny considering that it needs 7.3 seconds to get to 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at just 150 km/h (93 mph).
