Mini announces something ‘thrilling’, doesn’t say what

The Mini vehicle portfolio looks dated in the modern-day car world, even more so because drivers increasingly switch to SUVs, crossovers and pickups. Could the ‘thrilling’ something coming in October save the situation?

As you probably noticed, the teaser image is not very informative. There is a front half of a car shown from above, with black accents on the radiator grille, the headlamps and the badge.

Mini intends to wrap up ICE car production in 2025 and switch to all-electric drivetrains by 2030. Could this be its first EV? We don’t know. It might as well be a refresh of an existing model.
