The electric Mini Aceman Concept premiered a few years ago (watch the video if you forgot), but its production counterpart isn’t coming to the market until a couple years later. In the meantime, the company began testing prototypes on public roads, and someone managed to snap photos from up close.
Overall, the exterior of the car looks very similar to that of the Aceman Concept. The profile is low, the headlights are large and round, and the overhangs are rather short at both ends. The exhaust tips are nowhere to be seen, once again reinforcing the theory that it is the Aceman EV and not some other unannounced vehicle.
Coming in at 4,050 mm (158.2 inches) long and 1,990 mm (77.7 inches) wide, the original prototype was slightly smaller than the latest Mini Countryman, which will soon transition into its next generation. The manufacturer will probably want to make it even larger to distance it further from the Aceman.
