Buyers of the new 2023 MINI Clubman John Cooper Works may now opt for a customization package by 3D Design, a Japanese shop that already had a wide assortment of options going for the pre-facelift version of the compact car.
Pre-orders are already running. The right-hand-drive Brit gets redesigned side sills, an aggressive-looking diffuser and two spoilers – one for the front end, the other one for the roof at the back. Stock wheels make room for 19-inch Type 3 rollers, and the suspension drops by 25 mm (1 inch) owing to shorter springs.
Interior novelty boils down to the usual small details – floor mats, tuner’s logos, aluminum pedal pads and carbon-fiber paddle shifters under the steering wheel (you can also specify them in aluminum instead of carbon). The engine churns out its standard 306 PS (302 hp / 225 kW), but those who want a little extra may request a chip tune and get + 20 PS (+20 hp / +15 kW).
