Some of you may have heard about UK-based niche carmaker David Brown Automotive, which built a $700,000 Aston Martin DB5 replica based on the Jaguar XKR eight years ago. The company has now officially present on the North American market as well.
The first US release is this Mini Remastered Oselli Edition, which comes powered by a 1.4-liter engine rated at 126 PS (124 hp / 93 kW). It needs 7.8 seconds to go 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) and benefits from improved suspension, manual gearbox and some modern touches.
The tuner will be producing 60 such vehicles for the USA, and if you would like a different Mini restomod, you can contact DBA and order a custom job. Various interior, infotainment and drivetrain options are available. Pricing largely depends on your chosen trim level, but DBA gives $100,000 as an estimated average.
