MINI should be revealing its facelifted Cooper S in a few months’ time, but the latest leak allows a sneak peek at its camo-free body even before the official premiere.
The British compact looks more aggressive in its latest rendition, sporting a minimalistic front and fashionable gloss-black details instead of the outdated chrome ones. The headlight bezels have been redesigned, and the front bumper lacks anti-fog lamp slots. A new seven-spoke wheel design rounds things off as far as the novelty.
The 2021 MINI Cooper S reminds us of the Rocketman Concept that the automaker unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland (see video for details).
The current Cooper S sells with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-banger good for 192 hp (143 W) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque.
