The second generation of the Mini Countryman subcompact (featured in the video here) has been in production since 2016. Now, a facelifted Countryman has been sighted on public streets.
It looks like the visual changes will be strictly limited this time around. The radiator grille and the front bumper will get a style update, and the headlights will be upgraded to adaptive LED matrix tech. At the rear end, the taillights will sport the Union Jack ornament, like other, more compact Minis already do.
No interior shots are available to this date, but we expect the scope of changes to be greater there. In particular, the center console display should become much larger.
The United States will probably be the first launch market for the updated Mini Countryman, and the launch itself is expected in the second half of 2020.
