Mini is expanding its Countryman lineup to include a new special edition called the Boardwalk. The cars get new badges outside and inside, a new body color, a black roof and mirror housings.
True to its name, the series makes use of boardwalk ornaments on certain body kit parts and the badges. As for the Deep Laguna paintjob, it originally debuted on the open-top Mini Convertible Sidewalk Edition (watch the video if you need a reminder).
Customers are free to choose from three available specs: Cooper (1.5L 3-cyl., 134 hp / 100 kW, 220 Nm / 162 lb-ft), Cooper S (2.0L 4-cyl. turbo, 175 hp / 130 kW), and Cooper S ALL4 (the latter plus AWD). The first two variants offer a choice between six-speed manual and seven-speed DCT for transmission, while the ALL4 spec is restricted to eight-speed automatic.
